About me
Hello! My name is Sarah, and I'm a mobile sports and remedial therapist based in Woking, Surrey.Almost a decade ago, working in a very different industry, I had an opportunity to learn hand and arm massage. I discovered I had a knack for relieving tension in people, and found joy in alleviating stress and pain.After my own painful and long journey to pain-free movement after sports-related injuries, I decided to retrain and focus my career on helping others in need and sharing my knowledge!
I believe massage does not have to be painful or invasive to be effective, and is best paired with strength, mobility and effective movement plans. It is with that in mind that I have tailored my treatment to each of my clients and their goals and needs.
Treatments
Sports and Remedial Massage
Treatment for pain, injury or maintenance that gets deeper into tissue. This treatment is similar to Deep Tissue work and for people who have postural issues, sports injuries and chronic pain.Swedish Massage
This treatment is more for relaxation and general well-being, a gentler approach to the body for a pampering session!Pregnancy Massage
Available after the 12 week mark, pregnancy massage is for getting into the muscles that get sore throughout the second and third trimester.
Plans
Treatment never stops, even outside your appointment!
Training for a particular sport, event, or to rehab your joints and promote health is important for any level of fitness.
It can of course, be a minefield knowing where to start, and so after assessment and treatment, I am now offering tailored workout and mobility plans.
As part of this, I will discuss your goals, body, and how much time you're wanting to put in. Plans are ongoing and will change and evolve as your body does too.Always recommended alongside regular treatment.
